Embracing Innovation Since 1931
THROUGH THE YEARS
In 1931, Edwin L. Heim opened a motor repair shop in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Alongside Charles Bashore, Heim established his core values: employ highly-skilled personnel, build a reputation for dependability, ensure excellent working conditions and prioritize exceptional service through quality and education.
By 2018, the Heim Company expanded to three Central PA offices: a Motor Shop, Electrical and Mechanical Fabrication Shops and a Warehouse. Our services now include Design/Build, Electrical, Mechanical, Telecommunications, Industrial Motors and Controls and GES Automation Technology. In 2023, Heim served 600 different customers and closed 5,500 projects, a testament to delivering reliable services and innovative solutions.
The Heim Company currently employs over 400 commercial contractors and administrators, managed by the 2nd and 3rd generations of the Bashore family.
